Rekon 5 - unboxing, first flight, crash, revival

After the DJI FPV Drone and the GepRC Cinelog 25 HD I guess it was time for a "real" fpv drone: 5 inch. The Rekon 5 Digital version is unboxed and taken for its first flights. I'll leave out the very first one at home. The first recordings are from the goggles of a very careful flight. Next day it's out in the fields: I fly and suddenly, without warning, without degrading picture quality the camera feed is gone. I push up the throttle hoping to regain signal, then realize I should better let it crash where I have an approximate idea of where it is. Because of the amazingly loud beeper I find it and notice that the mushroom top of the antenna is gone. Nothing else is broken, not even a bent prop. That and the sudden loss of signal leads me to the conclusion that the mushroom fell off mid-flight. Meanwhile I order a replacement from TrueRC, the only one I'm confident will fit (I'm completely new to ordering parts...). Installing is easy though it's too short for the straw holding the old antenna. And it seems to work though the range isn't great - neither is my confidence in the range. But man that thing flies smooth - much better than the DJI FPV drone. Though now I noticed some jello in the SMO 4Ks footage. Not sure how to get that out. Any ideas? HGLRC says the antenna got loose and a prop damaged it. But how the antenna jumped back in when I found it I don't know. Anyway, they'll give me a new antenna but I'll have to pay for shipping... Music: Audiio.com Nach der DJI FPV Drohne und der GepRC Cinelog 25 HD war es Zeit für eine "richtige" FPV Drohne: 5 Zoll ohne die "Babysitterfunktionen" von DJI und haltbarer. Die Rekon 5 Digital wird ausgepackt und zum ersten Mal geflogen (den Flug zuhause lasse ich mal aus). Die ersten Aufnahmen stammen aus den Goggles: ein sehr vorsichtiger Flug. Am nächsten Tag fliege ich in den Feldern und plötzlich, ohne Warnung, ohne verschlechterte Übertragung wird das Bild in den Goggles schwarz. Ich ziehe hoch in der Hoffnung, wieder ein Signal zu bekommen, um dann zu merken, dass es sicherer ist, sie dort fallen zu lassen, wo ich etwas die Position kenne. Und wegen des extrem lauten Piepers finde ich sie sogar im Feld: Nichts kaputt, nicht mal ein verbogener Propeller. Aber der Pilzkopf der Antenne fehlt. Ich nehme an, er ist während des Fluges einfach abgefallen. Zwischenzeitlich habe ich eine Ersatzantenne von TrueRC bestellt (sie schien zu passen). Ließ sich einfach installieren, nur der Strohhalm passt jetzt nicht und die Reichweite ist nicht besonders. Aber diese Drohne fliegt super ruhig und angenehm, besser als die DJI Drohne. Leider zeigt die SMO 4K ein wackeliges Bild, was mir vorher nicht aufgefallen war. HGLRC meint übrigens, die Antenne hätte sich gelockert und der Propeller sie abgeschlagen. Wie sie dann allerdings wieder drin steckte, als ich die Drohne gefunden habe, erschließt sich mir nicht ganz. Egal, man ersetzt mir die Antenne, Versand geht auf meine Kappe...
