As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gather every six months, thousands of people work tirelessly behind the scenes to make General Conference a success. But who are these people, and what is their story? Some are Church employees, and others are unpaid volunteers. Still, each plays a crucial role in carrying the general conference messages to hearts and homes worldwide. With more than 100,000 in-person guests attending the two days of General Conference, and millions watching the live broadcast of the event worldwide, countless things need to go right to create the deeply spiritual and memorable experience that General Conference brings. This series highlights the work, dedication, and tremendous efforts of those who make the conference possible, focusing on different contributors in each episode. It offers a behind-the-scenes insight and tribute to the unspoken heroes who bring General Conference to the world every six months, experiencing miracles along the way. In this episode, we see all the labor and miraculous work of the team that produces the print and digital magazines after General Conference: the Liahona, Friend, YA Weekly, and For the Strength of Youth. Tasked with sharing the messages from our living prophets and apostles, this team compresses their work into just a few days instead of the usual eight months. Afterward, the remarkable process of printing these publications begins, as magazines in over 40 languages are distributed to subscribing members of the Church around the world.
