In this video I discuss my experience with finding out that my garden soil contained poisonous amounts of the heavy metals Lead, Arsenic, Chromium and Cadmium in 2014. This was probably the root cause for the Pancreatic and Liver cancer I was diagnosed with at the time. Once I found this out I stopped touching and eating from the garden and my health started to improve quite considerably to the point where I am in remission today and very much alive. The only solution for this toxic soil was to have it dug out and replaced with new clean soil. This allows me to have vegetable garden areas that are free from heavy metals that are safe to touch and eat food from today. If in Doubt Test for Contamination You can only be certain that land you are using is not contaminated by having it tested. Not all areas that have been contaminated are neccessarily correctly identified. Hill Labs can do a variety of tests to check for contamination. https://www.hill-labs.co.nz/testing-s... Hazardous Activities and Industries List (HAIL) The Ministry for the Environment provides a Hazardous Activities and Industries List to help identify sites where the soil may be contaminated. https://environment.govt.nz/publicati... Environment Canterbury (ECAN) - Listed Land Use Register (LLUR) The Listed Land Use Register (LLUR) is a publicly available database of sites where hazardous activities and industries have been located throughout Canterbury. Ccheck with your Regional Council to see if they have a LLUR. If in doubt have your soil tested anyway. https://llur.ecan.govt.nz/home Kapai Get Into It!
