The Inpeco IOM, for the pre-analytical phase of laboratory testing, works as a single operation point that loads and unloads sample tubes onto/from the laboratory automation track. It has a throughput of 750 tubes per hour. It performs automated sample check-in and returns flawed tubes to priority lane for review. The IOM manages also fast input and STAT samples, capped/uncapped and spun/unspun tubes for serum, plasma, whole blood, and urine sample loading.
