Buy Now! New Sway Bar Bushing Set from 1AAuto.com https://trq.video/ia-1ASMX00613 This video shows you how to install new sway bar bushings on your 2011-2019 Ford Explorer. The sway bars on your vehicle connect the shocks or struts together for additional stability. Since they have to cross the underside of the vehicle, they are attached at several points along the way. The bushings cushion and dampen those attachments to reduce noise and wear. Over time rubber bushings crack and rot, which could lead to clunking or scraping at the sway bar attaching points. This repair was done on a 2013 Ford Explorer Limited 3.5L Sport Utility 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles: 2011 Ford Explorer 2012 Ford Explorer 2013 Ford Explorer 2014 Ford Explorer 2015 Ford Explorer 2016 Ford Explorer 2017 Ford Explorer 2018 Ford Explorer 2019 Ford Explorer Tools you will need: • Pry Bar https://trq.video/o6k-1AXAA00020 • 13mm Wrench https://trq.video/o95-1AXAA00010 • 13mm Socket https://trq.video/obYk-1AXAA00015 • 18mm Socket • 19mm Socket • Ratchet https://trq.video/ob2N-1AXAA00016 • Torque Wrench https://trq.video/oa5A-1AXAA00044 • Brake Parts Cleaner • Cloth Rags https://trq.video/oLP-1AXSS00035 • Gloves https://trq.video/oaSw-1AXSS00048 • Liquid Thread Locker • Rust Penetrant • Safety Glasses • Floor Jack https://trq.video/oasp-1AXAA00068 • Hammer • Jack Stands https://trq.video/oaex-1AXAA00065 • Razor Blade / Gasket Scraper • Wheel Chocks Subscribe: / @trq Check out our playlist: Ford Explorer 2011-2019 5th Generation: • Ford Explorer 2011-2019 5th Generation ⚠ DISCLAIMER: While TRQ strives to make the information provided in this video as accurate as possible, it makes no claims, promises, or guarantees about the accuracy, completeness or applicability of the content.
