Crich Tramway Village 60th Anniversary Part 2, September 2019
Returning to my visit at the Crich Tramway Museum, Part 2 continues and concludes my visit to the incredible 60th Anniversary Weekend. The Crich Tramway Museum, located in the village of Crich is home to the National Tramway Museum, home to over 60 trams of mostly British origin running through a recreated street and out into open countryside up to Glory Mine, a running distance of around a mile. Part 2 begins with me continuing to explore the site, enjoying the large number of trams in operation from a number of vantage points around the site, including the Sheffield Tram lineup of the Depot Fan. As the day begins to come to a close, we return to the Depot, and watch the trams return back for the night, concluding with the final departure of the day, a train of 3 Leeds trams, commemorating 60 years of the closure of the Leeds Tramway.
