After dozens of days working in the scalding hot sun, countless sleepless nights editing to my definition of perfection, and every bit of passion I have in me, I can finally present the definition editions of every “Meet the..” video. Originally, this was a one-off, I didn’t plan to make the whole series. But after seeing how people loved it, it made me consider making the rest of the series.. and here we are. Meet the Soldier, one of nine playable character classes in Team Fortress 2. Soldier is my most played merc in Tf2. This was probably the most grueling one to film. It was the first truly hot day and we were all tired from school and whatnot. Lennox definitely carried this one. Meet the Pyro, one of nine playable character classes in Team Fortress 2. Pyro is over-hated, unless I die to them while playing Spy, in which the hate is justified. This took the longest to film, mostly because of the editing. We actually started filming this before Demoman, but wanted Pyro to be the finale of the series. Meet the Demoman, one of nine playable character classes in Team Fortress 2. I suck at Demoknight, base Demoman is comp. Originally Demoman was supposed to be played by a white woman, my mentality being that if I can’t find anyone matching Demoman’s likeness, then I might as well play into the inaccuracy of it all for laughs. But schedules didn’t align, so now I am that one White Demoman. Meet the Heavy Weapons Guy, one of nine playable character classes in Team Fortress 2. Heavy’s cool. This was an easy one to film. Ben, along with Lennox and Tristan, were the biggest helps during the filming of this series. Meet the Sandvich, edible item in Team Fortress 2. Personally, I don’t care for Meet the Sandvich. Meet the Engineer, one of nine playable character classes in Team Fortress 2. The reason Engi changed actors between Meet the Medic and Meet the Engineer is because Engineer isn’t chopped. This was filmed and edited in the span of an evening. Meet the Sniper, one of nine playable character classes in Team Fortress 2. A friend of mine is crushing on Sniper lol. The reason I play Sniper in Meet the Sniper is because I can act, Tristan can’t. At the end of the day, Meet the Sniper might be my favorite, barring Meet the Spy. Meet the Spy, one of nine playable character classes in Team Fortress 2. Spy is my personal favorite merc, both in character and in who to play in game. After filming this, I knew that filming the rest of the series would be possible.
