The air was filled with the rich, earthy scent of premium tobacco, a fitting backdrop to the celebration of excellence in the world of cigars. The 11th Santa Rita Cigar Smoker of The Year Dinner & Awards at Boisdale of Canary Wharf. Was it the best yet? Very possibly yes. Stunning cigars (6 per guest), Aber Falls Whisky, Whitley Neill Distillers Cut Gin and Veuve Clicquot NV reception, beautiful single estate wines from Santa Rita, delicious food, and most importantly absolutely excellent company. As the camera panned across the elegant venue, capturing the swirl of laughter and clinking glasses, it was clear that the Boisdale Cigar Awards 2023 was a night to remember. The awards were hosted by Tom Parker Bowles. From the moment the first award was presented to the final toast of the evening, the event was a testament to the passion and artistry of those dedicated to the craft.
