Kalki will appear on Earth towards the End of Kali Yuga. In Hinduism, there are four yugas namely Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dvapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga. These four cycles rotate just like our calendar months. The present age is the Kali Yuga and it will last for 432000 years. It is believed that we have already passed 5000 years from the battle of Kurukshetra. That means there are still 427000 years left and as per Srimad Bhagavatam the Lord Kalki will arrive at the end of the Kali-yuga. At that time, the Supreme Personality of Godhead will appear on the earth. Acting with the power of pure spiritual goodness, He will rescue eternal religion. Lord Vishnu will appear in a Brahman family as Kalki, the son of Vishnuvyas and his wife Sumati in the village of Sambhala. Sage Yajnavalkya himself will be the Acharya of Kalkideva as described in Agnipurana. It is said that Kalki will marry Padma, the daughter of King Brihadratha of the island of Simhale and his Queen Kaumudi. Riding a white horse named Devadutta with a drawn sword, Kalki will mow down the evil and corrupt and ensure the reign of Dharma.
