360 Video: Laparoscopic Operating for Colorectal Resection

This 360 Video shows the inside of an operating theatre during a laparoscopic colorectal operation. The patient has been placed under anaesthesia and positioned on the operating table and the operation commenced. The site of the cancer (the sigmoid colon) is being mobilised laparoscopically to order to enable removal of the cancer in order to cure the disease. As a 360 Video you can pan around it by clicking and dragging the screen. It is best viewed on a Smart Phone via the YOUTUBE app and it can also be watched on this in VR using a headset, either Google Cardboard or some other make. The intention is to let an interested viewer see, hear and feel the inside of an operating theatre and this video is part of a series showing the different time-points of the operative process and system flow.
