The Poltergeist House (Filming Location) - Another Haunted House In The Neighborhood The original 1982 Poltergeist House filming location in Simi Valley, Yikes! I take you on a stroll through the new neighborhood and come across the exterior filming place of a very haunted house the Freeling residence from a 80's Spielberg horror movie classic built on top of an ancient indian burial ground. Wait does that mean we moved and also live on top of an ancient indian burial ground? They only moved the headstones! I found something spooky! I just hope nothing pops out of the ground while I'm on my walk around the new place. Good thing there is no real poltergeist curse and that it's just a poltergeist filming location.
