These events set up Bond's mission to investigate the drug trafficking activities of Dr. Kananga, a corrupt Caribbean dictator. The Man with the Golden Gun (1974): The sequence starts with Bond's nemesis, Francisco Scaramanga, and his unique golden gun. Scaramanga is seen training on his private island, using an elaborate funhouse filled with traps and illusions. This introduces the deadly assassin and his distinctive weapon. The Spy Who Loved Me (1977): The film opens with a thrilling ski chase in Austria. Bond is pursued by Soviet agents and performs a daring escape by skiing off a cliff, deploying a Union Jack parachute. It's one of the most iconic stunts in the series and showcases Bond's resourcefulness. Moonraker (1979): The pre-title scene features Bond aboard a private jet that is hijacked. He fights off the hijackers, and after a mid-air struggle, he is thrown out of the plane. Bond then skydives without a parachute, engaging in a fight with a henchman in free fall before managing to secure a parachute and land safely. For Your Eyes Only (1981): The scene begins with Bond visiting the grave of his late wife, Tracy. He is then summoned for a mission and is picked up by a helicopter. However, the helicopter is remotely hijacked by a wheelchair-bound villain resembling Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Bond regains control and uses the helicopter to defeat the villain, dropping him into a factory chimney. Octopussy (1983): Bond infiltrates a South American airbase disguised as a horse trailer. He plants explosives and is captured, but escapes in a mini-jet hidden in the trailer. After a dramatic aerial pursuit, Bond returns to the airfield, lands the jet, and calmly drives away as the base explodes behind him. A View to a Kill (1985): The pre-title sequence takes place in Siberia, where Bond retrieves a microchip from a fallen 00-agent. After evading Soviet forces and engaging in a ski chase, Bond escapes using an improvised snowboard and a one-man sub disguised as an iceberg.
