I often wonder the ranch in the night to ponder things like the injustices done to the folks at the Universal Ostrich farm. Down the valley I could hear wolves off in the distance. Up in the main yard a small herd of elk huddled in the safety of civilization. The wolves reminded me of the CFIA and the RCMP waiting to slaughter their prey. WHile the elk were able to seek refuge unfortunately the Ostriches were not. The UOF inspired this song and I dedicate to the folks who lost so much.
