Intarsia woodcraft with Jen Shakti

I take you through the process, from drawing my own pattern to completion. I discovered this old technique as a way to make something cool out of the scrap bits of wood that pile up in the wood shop. Turns out, I really enjoy making these low relief wood sculptures with the process called Intarsia. I use the scroll saw and 3/4 inch pine, with carving, burning and paint to bring out the details.
