TapDown Duels - Duel #1: Modern CurdBrosBrewingCo's Elf Devotion Combo Deck versus Vito1014's Aggro Elf Beater Deck Decklist URLs: 1) http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/elf-de... 2) http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/elf-be... TapDown Duels is an idea a few of us users on Tappedout came up with to bring the community weekly duels against each other for entertainment and discussion purposes. We can throw two decks up against each other and in the end help each other improve on those Dueled decks, as the amazing Tappedout Community we are. We use cockatrice (see below for details) and I record the Duels and post them on youtube. The videos will be uploaded on TapDown Duels' very own Youtube Channel. Then, the video will be posted in its very own article to show the results! Email: TapDownDuels@gmail.com Tappedout.net Username: Dreno33 GAME RULES: 1) Once decks are chosen, screenshots will be made of both decks, sideboard included, as a timestamp thus preventing the altercation of one's deck in favor against the opponent's. 2) Each Player will be given the preference of playing a 2 out of 3 round system or a 3 out of 5 round system to determine the victor. They must both agree on the preferred round system or 2 out of 3 will be chosen. 3) Each Player will be given the option to play 1 Practice Round to get a better feel of the program and warm-up to the game. They must both agree on the practice round or none will be given. 4) The Game (and practice round) will be recorded and uploaded onto Youtube for recap and discussion purposes on the Video link itself and here on TappedOut. 5) The game will include spectators. Chat will be open during the pre game lobby of the Duel. Once the Practice Round and/or Game begins, chat will be kept to a minimum of myself, any other judge(s), and the Dueling Players. Any spectator violating the Chat will be removed from spectation. 6) During the Game, Players MUST verbalize (chat) when proceeding to the next phase and their opponent must reply with a "proceed" or "in response". Failure to continually do so will result in an automatic Round loss for the particular player. 7) If at any time during a Round a player accidentally reveals his or her library, reveals the top card of the library, or reshuffles the library, that player will lose the Round. Revealing your hand does not lose you the round, it only gives your opponent a distinct advantage, not you. 8) If at any time during a Round a player's connection is lost with the server, that player will lose the Round unless that player had a distinct advantage in winning that Round, ON that turn. This will be determined by myself and other spectators. If so, once connection is reestablished by both players, we will restart the Round. 9) If a Player's connection is lost, that player will have 5 minutes to rejoin the lobby. If the player fails to do so, it will result in an automatic Round loss. Failure to rejoin in 10 minutes will result in an automatic Duel loss. The other player however, may choose to reschedule the Duel with his or her opponent, myself, and any other judge(s).
