This is a quiet POV walk through the coastal town of Drøbak, Norway. No talking, just natural sounds. The walk was filmed on a cold blue-grey winter day, with temperatures around –18°C (–0.4°F). Drøbak is an old town with a long history dating back to the 1600s. In earlier times, it was an important harbor and customs town. Today, it balances between being a lively summer town and a Christmas town. In summer, the area is known for beaches, boating, and the waterfront park. In winter, the town becomes into a Christmas town, with its own Christmas house and seasonal atmosphere. On April 9, 1940, during the German invasion of Norway in World War II, Oscarsborg Fortress sank the German heavy cruiser Blücher. A separate video from Oscarsborg Fortress may come at a later time. The walk starts at the small boat harbor, continues to the guest harbor and through the town center, then goes back toward the harbor and along the waterfront park to the beach. From there, the walk continues toward Husvik Battery, which was connected to Oscarsborg Fortress. Natural sounds only. No talking. POV walking experience.
