OMG I'm uploading something more vulnerable for the first time so I'm actually kind of nervous haha This was the most stressful emergency upload holyy I thought this wouldn't take too long to make but I was heavily mistaken :') All the footage is stuff that I filmed as I travelled and did fun stuff with people. You'll also see a section dedicated to all the things I did with friends within the last year or so ! Please note that I do not appear in the video though :) It's by no means a cinematic masterpiece, but this is the best I could do somehow (it sucks a lot) ;-; This song was actually something I originally made for All Nighter 8, and it got rejected because my songwriting and vocal production was just downright atrocious at the time ( ; ω ; ) But through many significant experiences this year, I've slowly come to understand what I genuinely want to express, so after countless rewrites of the lyrics, I finally settled on this :) The instrumental is pretty much the same as it was when I first made it in the allotted 24 hours, just slightly modified to satisfy my current mixing standards. Also, it's probably pretty obvious but this was heavily inspired by Porter Robinson (Nurture lol) and a Virtual Riot unreleased ID. I would say that this is a pretty selfish song. Every word and text is either something about me, or something I want to tell myself. To me, this song is an expression of what I want in my life, and it will serve as a reminder of that as I continue to live out my life. I don't want to speak too soon, but I'm excited for the future !
