Silent Valley National Park is located in the Nilgiri hills and near to Mannarkkad of Palakkad district in Kerala. This national park has some rare species of flora and fauna and rich biodiversity of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. We are exploring the beauty of this forest today by jeep because the core zone is around 23 km inside the forest. After reaching the silent valley core zone, we had trekking through this thick forest for one hour and it was heavily raining in that time.
