Dragon Ball Z: The Androids Saga (Fake Animated Trailer)

While my first two trailers seemed to stick to one theme each (inspiring heroes and destructive villains), I tried to balance the two in this one to create something of a 'good vs evil' parable in this one as the trailer is literally split into two distinct halves through a silent break in the middle as Android 17 and Piccolo exchange taunts. I've always felt that like the Saiyan saga was a precursor to the Frieza saga, the Android saga is the precursor to the Cell saga. With this in mind, I've decided on changing the theme of the music too. Gone are the 'Man of Steel' soundtracks and I have utilised some pieces from Hans Zimmers' 'The Dark Knight Rises' instead. Not from the film specifically, but the fourth trailer and a bonus song on the soundtrack. I felt that there were no more songs appropriate to me on the 'Man of Steel' soundtrack (at least for the Android/Cell sagas), hence my change. Along with this, the mechanical and/or dark industrial sounds from the track reminded me of the cold/robotic androids themselves and seemed to meld better with the whole 'engineered' motif behind the villains. Because of Goku's absence during a significant portion of this saga, Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo become the real stars here while the rest are more or less supplementary. I made the most of this difference during this saga and featured them quite heavily for the most part. I found some difficultly in finding the right episode that the Androids saga stopped and Cell began as they both seem to seamlessly merge as one giant saga as opposed to change distinctly like in the Saiyan/Frieza sagas. Even though Cells first two forms were in the Androids saga, I decided on almost completely omitting him, as he will clearly be the main star during my next trailer, where things certainly start to escalate on a grand scale.
