This ergonomic automatic longitudinal seam welding machine designed for either cylinders or flat plate sheet steel. The seam welder system includes a Xiris arc welding camera, that monitors the GMAW linear seam welding process from the podium monitor. The ergonomic adjustable height podium control center is where the operator has full control over the MIG seam welding machine during the active arc welding production. The seamer system uses a Miller Electric - Miller Auto Continue Power Supply and the complete related welding automation equipment. The operator views the seam welding process using the Xiris Welding Camera located on the weld head and watching the arc weld seamer operation on the podium monitor. The MITUSA seamer system material handling dual process rollers allows ergonomic loading of the part, as well as securing the vessel tube on the welding seamer bed. The 22' seam welder system has both copper and stainless insert back up backs. Special seamer tooling allows storage of the spare seamer insert to be stored inside the seamer system for easy access for quick tooling change out time.
