ROHM’s BM6437x series of 600V IGBT IPMs achieves class-leading characteristics by simultaneously reducing both radiated noise and power loss, by 6dB and 6%, respectively, resulting in best-in-class performance while reducing design load considerably. At the same time, improved temperature monitoring accuracy (±2%) eliminates the need for an external thermistor, and a new product identification function helps prevent mounting errors. This makes them ideal for power conversion in inverters used in compact industrial equipment (i.e. small capacity motors for robots) as well as home appliances such as AC, washing machines, and refrigerators.
