This fall I renovated my front lawn with a 100% Kentucky Bluegrass blend that consisted of Everest, Mazama, and Bluebank cultivars. In this video I show you the results of this renovation and talk about the good, the bad, and they ugly of these results. The good was that the KBG came in extremely well and gained that dark color grass I was looking for when I planted this seed. The bad is that I had some areas that didn't fill in as well as others. Particularly on the edges of the property. I was also hit with rust fungus that I took care of with azoxystrobin. The ugly is that I have found Poa Trivialis all over the lawn. I really wont know how bad it is until next spring but it's definitely there.
