Welcome to Peja, Kosovo — a small but scenic town at the foot of the Rugova Mountains, and a popular base for exploring western Kosovo. In this short video, we take you along on a relaxing day exploring the heart of Peja with our kids. We started our day with coffee at a local café on the main square, before wandering through the bazaar streets, browsing shops, and enjoying the laid-back pace of this friendly town. We crossed the bridge to visit the city park, walk along the river, and grab a photo by the colorful "I Love Peja" sign. While parking in Peja can be tricky — narrow streets and limited space — we found a helpful off-street paid parking area in the center, run by locals. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming, but it’s worth noting that not everyone speaks English, so be sure to have Google Translate ready! Peja is a great jumping-off point for day trips into the mountains, and we’re using it as our base for a few days. ⏱️ Chapters 00:00 - Intro & Driving to Peja 01:56 - Parking in Peja 03:54 - Exploring Peja on Foot 05:13 - Thoughts on Peja & Wrap up on the Day 06:40 - Airbnb Tour | Cheapest Airbnb in Peja - Worth It? 🇽🇰 Travel Tips for Peja, Kosovo 1.
