Day 2 in New York City continues! After a long walk around Brooklyn earlier, we headed to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria to finally try their famous coal-fired pizza. From there, we made our way back to Manhattan and walked around Canal Street and Bowery, where we created the famous reel for Ho Hey by The Lumineers — a little moment that made the day even more fun. Another highlight was trying the viral cheesesteak from Danny & Coop’s, the shop owned by Bradley Cooper. Later in the day, we visited the huge Macy’s Herald Square, one of the biggest department stores in the world, and even got to ride their classic wooden escalators. After exploring floor after floor (and resting our legs for a bit after almost 40k steps 😅), we walked over to the Empire State Building to see it up close.
