Day 2 of our trip and we head straight to Verulamium Park, Hertfordshire to stretch our legs with a walk around what was once a Roman city. A must-do visit to the museum rewards us with a glorious Grade 1 mosaic. Just time for a quick drone flight at the Roman Amphitheater before we drive into St. Alban’s for lunch and a look round the Cathedral which dates back to the 11th Century and has the longest nave of any Cathedral in England at 85m long. We find a small, busy car park to relax for a bit but will it be suitable for overnight?
