Ten days ago Todd asked me to build him a Jingle Ball Bird Toy by removing the feather from the Bird Toy wand and attaching the Jingle Ball. Here is the video of him asking.    • Todd Asks Me To Build Him Another Toy!!! (...   I thought at first it may have been an accidental button push but Todd did not seem like he got upset like he normally does if he makes a mistake. I offered him just the Jingle Ball first and he did not want to play with it. Then I offered the Bird Toy with the same result. I made the toy he requested, and he started immediately chasing and playing with it. He is continuing to ask for it. This was no fluke. Todd is a 6-year-old neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons. We aim to let Todd express himself and tell me his wants and needs. Currently, Todd has 51 words on his soundboard. This channel is dedicated to Todd learning to “talk”.
