Search intent. Nobody is searching highlights and VODs of somebody with no viewers or following, this is why I don’t tell new streamers to start a Youtube channel for their highlights. You don’t have an audience yet, which means you need to find an audience by figuring out what they are searching for and capitalize on that. This is easiest done with Education content, that is what I am doing with this channel. I use tools and common sense to think about what people who want to learn to stream or improve their stream are looking for. Make education content on the topic you want to grow in, if you are a Stardew Valley streamer then you can make videos about “How To Install Mods In Stardew Valley” or “Best Greenhouse Layout For Stardew Valley” or if you are a speedrunner for something like Super Mario Odyssey or Legend of Zelda, “How To Speedrun Super Mario Odyssey - Cap Kingdom Tutorial” The style of this video is similar to Alpha Gaming and Gaming Careers in parts.
