ADAGIO for Modular, Digitone and JX08 (Live Jam)

In this improvised live jam - which is a complete first take - I used my Eurorack system consisting mainly of Make Noise modules (Spectraphon serving as the main oscillator in this case) to create dreamy and liquid sequences that seem to endlessly evolve and morph into different time feels. The Mimeophon delay module comes in handy to develop all kinds of different subdivisions. Time and space becomes relative. The main motivic element on top of that comes from the Digitone, playing two contrapuntal harp like melodies. This is the "ADAGIO" part (meaning it is a very slow movement) and it's simplicity creates a meditative yet intense energy. There are also some samples that I use from the Morphagene (also routed through the Mimeophon) to establish the drone liek atmosphere. Later on I play some pads from the Roland JX08 to give the whole thing a little more musicality.
