The persian shield (or STROBILANTHES DYERIANUS in latin) is a gorgeous plant hailing from Myanmar. Its got reptile-like texture on the leaves and an iridescent purple that is unique to its species. The care is relatively easy for this plant, It wants direct sunlight and never allowed to dry out completely. But this does not mean you can drown this plant with water because it will not forgive you for it. This plant is commonly used in landscaping or outdoor gardening and can withstand mild frost.
