According to the victim’s family, Divyanshu was a resident of Rohini Sector-24 JJ Colony and was friends with a girl from the same locality. The family alleges that the girl’s brother created a fake Instagram profile posing as his sister and lured Divyanshu to the park on the pretext of a meeting. When Divyanshu arrived at the spot, the accused, along with his associates, surrounded him. What began as a confrontation quickly turned violent, and Divyanshu was stabbed multiple times in a brutal attack. The assailants fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving the teenager critically injured. Police reached the spot soon after receiving the information and rushed Divyanshu to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The incident has left the victim’s parents and sister inconsolable.
