If you haven't watched Part 1 before, find it below- Bansinarayan Part 1 Video:    • Bansi Narayan Trek Part 1 | उत्तराखण्ड का ...   Devalsari Video:    • Devalsari Temple | Just 70 km from Dehradu...   Mr Rawat's contact number: +91-7819040833 Story(Hindi) चमोली जिले की उर्गम घाटी में स्थित वंशी नारायण मंदिर के कपाट केवल रक्षा बंधन के दिन खुलते हैं। इस मंदिर तक पहुंचने के लिए 12 किमी की पैदल यात्रा करनी होती है। देवभूमि उत्तराखंड का यह एकमात्र ऐसा मंदिर है, जहां महिलाएं पहले भगवान वंशी नारायण को राखी बांधती हैं और फिर भाइयों को। मान्यता है कि इस मंदिर का निर्माण पांडव काल में हुआ था। कत्यूरी शैली में बने इस मंदिर में भगवान विष्णु और शिव के संयुक्त रूप के दर्शन होते हैं। किवदंती के अनुसार, राजा बलि के आग्रह पर भगवान विष्णु पाताल लोक में उनके द्वारपाल बने। भगवान के लंबे समय तक वापस न आने पर माता लक्ष्मी ने श्रावण पूर्णिमा के दिन पाताल लोक जाकर राजा बलि को राखी बांधी और भगवान विष्णु को वापस लाईं। तब से यह परंपरा चली आ रही है, और आज भी गांव के पुजारी वंशी नारायण की पूजा करते हैं। Story(English) The Bansi Narayan Temple, located in the Urgam Valley of Chamoli district, opens only on the day of Raksha Bandhan. To reach this temple, one must walk around 12 kilometers. It is the only temple in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand where women first tie a Rakhi to Lord Bansi Narayan before tying it to their brothers. It is believed that this temple was built during the Pandava era. The temple features a unique idol that represents both Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. According to legend, Lord Vishnu became the gatekeeper of King Bali in the underworld at his request. When Lord Vishnu didn’t return for a long time, Goddess Lakshmi went to the underworld on the day of Shravan Purnima (Raksha Bandhan), tied a Rakhi to King Bali, and requested the return of Lord Vishnu. Since then, this tradition has continued, and even today, the local priest from Kalgoth village performs the worship of Bansi Narayan.
