Broke a wheel stud? Installing new wheels and require longer ones (like me)? Thankfully wheel studs are dead easy to replace & all you need to do it are some basic tools. In this video I'll take you through the entire process using a halfshaft removed from my 1978 Ford Capri. These were featured in the previous Tech Tip video when I replaced the wheel bearings (   • How to Replace Rear Wheel Bearings / Half ...  ). The JBW Superlite wheels I'm swapping to have a deeper mouting face than the banded steels, meaning longer wheel studs are required for proper fitment. I chose to go 10mm longer than the stock stud and got a new set from www.rallydesign.co.uk The car in the video is my 1978 Ford Capri running a Modified 2.0 Pinto Engine.
