Die Hansestadt Stralsund / The Hanseatic City Stralsund (1/3)

Ein Rundgang durch die historische Altstadt mit Besuch der Aussichtsplattform der Marienkirche. A stroll through the historic old town with a visit to the viewing platform of the St. Mary's Church. Stralsund wurde im 12. Jahrhundert gegründet und zählte zu den bedeutendsten Handelsstädten im Ostseeraum. Die Stadt gehörte ab Mitte des 17. Jahrhundert bis Anfang des 19. Jahrhundert zu Schweden und kurze Zeit auch zu Dänemark. Seit 2002 ist Stralsund UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Stralsund is been founded during the 12th century and was one of the most important trading cities in the Baltic region. The town belonged to Sweden and for a short time to Denmark from the mid-17th to the early-19th century. The city is now a UNESCO world heritage site (since 2002).
