609 W. Randolph is a 16-story Class-A office building in Chicago’s West Loop Gate—an infill project shaped by tight site conditions, transit adjacency, and a neighborhood with a strong architectural voice. Adjustable Concrete Construction delivered the cast-in-place concrete structure for this mid-rise development, working in close coordination with Skender and the broader project team to keep the build moving efficiently on a constrained urban site. The structure supports a masonry-forward façade with steel, metal panel, and glazing elements, along with a granite base that ties the building back to its surroundings. Built on a former surface parking lot and designed to meet WELL certification goals and exceed energy code, the project reflects a careful balance of constructability, performance, and urban context—just steps from CTA and Metra connections.
