How I Keep My Camping Gear Dry and Organized!

In this video I share with you how I organize my camping gear after thirty years of consistent car camping. I start with a comparison of the bins I used to use to the bins I currently and I explain the reasons why. It may seem simple but when you look at all the gear you bring car camping, it doesn't take long for your gear to get shuffled and misplaced. The easiest way that I have found is to simply divide your gear into "hard" goods (camp kitchen) and "soft" goods (tarps, hammock etc). Typically you only need one bin for cooking and the other for the remainder of your camp set up. I have switched to the PLANO brand bins from the RUBBERMAID brand for the durability, size dimensions and versatility. I can literally grab two bins and be on a last minute adventure in no time. There are an endless number of shapes, styles, colors and price ranges for these bins/totes, this is just what I have found to be the best so far.
