A school and dozens of homes in Ukraine’s city of Zhytomyr have already been decimated by Russian missiles - now residents live in terror of what else may come. Independent TV’s Bel Trew toured the wreckage and spoke to residents as they prepared for further attacks under almost hourly air raid sirens. Among the ruins of a school, teacher Valeriy said: ‘Take a look at what real fascism is. It’s a hit on all the kids.” The head of the local maternity unit, Dr Olena Volodymyrivna, is now converting the hospital’s basement into a bunker. “Ukrainian children are born in basements under the full fire of Russia.
