There are two sections to this qualification. The first section consists of 7 mandatory tricks, starting with: C-Set from Backey Forthey Rising Sun Left Hand Continuous Spin (3 Cycles) Two Hand Continuous Spin (3 Cycles) Side Ninja K-Aerial Left Hand Drag The next section is a pick 3 section. There are several tricks listed – and I’ll perform all of them for this video overview – but you’ll only need to perform three of them for qualification. The tricks you have to choose from are: Wrist Wrap Hawaiian Punch or Downtown Tailspin Right Hand Continuous Spin Wristbreaker Standard Wind Up The Or designation means you must perform one or the other trick for qualification, but not both. It usually accompanies tricks that are achieved in similar ways but have a variation large enough to be known as its own trick. And that’s it. Your qualification video should consist of 10 tricks total. The orange sling qualification is pass/fail and it’s reviewed privately off-stream. Upload your video to YouTube and use the submission box on the Orange Sling page to submit. You should have a response within 1-7 days – though it could take longer.
