Not Great. Not Terrible. | Lufthansa Business Class Review — A350-900

Today I’m flying Lufthansa long-haul Business Class on the Airbus A350-900, on a six-hour flight from Munich to Riyadh. Lufthansa is one of the biggest and most iconic airlines in the world — yet its business class rarely sparks much conversation anymore. Once a status symbol for corporate travellers and officials, it now feels defined more by consistency and efficiency than by luxury or emotion. This flight turned out to be exactly that: not great, not terrible — just very Lufthansa. Along the way, I look at the Business Lounge in Munich, the A350 cabin and seat, privacy and sleeping comfort, the food and drinks on board, and the small details that quietly shape the experience. Lufthansa delivers a solid, well-maintained, and reliable product. But in a world where business class has evolved into personal space and experience-driven travel, the question is whether reliability alone is still enough.
