This text presents a comprehensive and scientific examination of employee resistance to artificial intelligence in the workplace, offering a new process-oriented framework for understanding this challenge. The authors view resistance as a phenomenon that goes beyond legacy technologies and is rooted in individuals’ fear, feelings of inadequacy, and aversion. According to the study, employees confront this phenomenon through mechanisms such as doubt, existential questioning, and reconsideration of the role of technology, which can lead either to anxiety or to deeper self-awareness. In response, organizations can reduce these tensions by adopting strategies such as increasing accessibility, emphasizing human–machine collaboration, and legitimizing intelligent tools. Ultimately, the source emphasizes that successful management of artificial intelligence requires continuous interaction between employees’ individual experiences and organizations’ strategic interventions.
