Hiking Mount Megunticook - Camden Hills State Park

Camden Hills State Park is a popular Maine state park, located right on the coast, just north of Camden, Maine. On our way to Acadia National Park, we stayed overnight in the campground in the state park. My plan was to get up early for a sunrise views of the Penobscot Bay, but the weather didn’t cooperate, so I started at dawn instead. My GoPro failed and I turned to my iPhone to get the video. The iPhone did a reasonable job, but I did not have a tripod mount for me so I had to get creative with some of the video. The views of Penobscot Bay, Camden and it’s harbor, Mount Battie, and Mt Ragged AKA Camden Snow Bowl were phenomenal. Outdoors With John Hi I’m John and I enjoy being outdoors. I am passionate about hiking, biking (road cycling and mountain biking), backpacking, bikepacking, and snowshoeing. I love traveling in our Class C Motorhome and visiting our national parks.
