The Constitution (129th Amendment) Bill, 2024 and the Union Territories Law Amendment Bill, 2024 were tabled by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal. Opposition parties protested, demanding the bills be sent to a Joint Parliamentary Committee.
