An Inspiring Story: Michael Cairl’s “Stick it to the Stroke” Stair Climb and Gallivant

Three years ago my friend Michael Cairl had a bad stroke that severely disrupted his life. But he's worked hard to regain as much mobility as possible in the ensuing years and yesterday he held a hike/stair climb with about a dozen friends to fundraise for one of his favorite organizations. The two mile hike included some of the steepest portions of The Bronx and included a jaunt up the now-famous "Joker Stairs" and a trip across the Highbridge. Please check out this inspiring tale!
