Tired of eating a full meal, my family decided to have dumplings for lunch instead. This is not a conventional dumpling that I used to make. Since I have some leftover bacons, so I decided to create a “new” recipe. The end result was stunning, those dumplings turned out to be very yummy and for sure, this won’t be the last time we will be eating it. And here it is, the premier of my “Meat & Bacon Dumplings “ hope you like it! Meat & Bacon Dumplings 500g Minced Meat 100g Bacon, minced 1/2 Carrot, chop finely A bunch chives, chop finely 1 tbsp mixtures finely chopped of sweet and salted preserved Radish 1 egg 1 shallot, chop finely 1 pack Wanton skin (about 60 pieces) 1 pot Chicken soup (500g chicken bones slow boil in 1000ml water, flavored with some salt) Flavorings : 1 tsp salt 3-4 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp pepper 1 tbsp cornflour 1 tsp sesame oil Quick fry the chopped shallots, carrot, chives and bacon together. Don’t over fry so that the bacon will not be tough. Leave to cool. Mix (1), minced meat, egg and the flavorings together till well mixed. Place about a tsp of meat onto the wanton skin and wrap it by the 4 corners to form a dumpling. Prepare a pot of hot boiling water, cook dumplings till they float on the surface, then they’re considered cooked. Place dumplings in a bowl together with suitable amount of chicken soup. ENJOY!
