This video showcases the set-up procedure and how to use the ASSURANCE Clip. This video is intended for instructional purposes only. For complete instructions, please reference the Instructions for Use (IFU). The ASSURANCE Clip is designed for endoscopic clip placement within the gastrointestinal tract for endoscopic marking, hemostasis, defect closure, and anchoring. To use during a procedure, remove the protective tip from the clip. After confirming that the device is in the closed position, advance the ASSURANCE Clip through the instrument channel. When the clip is at the desired location, gently move the slider away from the thumb ring to open the clip's jaws. The ASSURANCE hemostatic clip offers full 360-degree rotation, allowing the physician to reposition the device multiple times before deployment until the correct position is achieved. To permanently deploy the clip, the physician can pull the slider proximally towards the thumb ring using a forceful, secure squeeze. This endoscopic clip offers multiple opening widths (9, 11, 13, 16, and 18 mm) and a retained clip length of 12.5 – 14.5 mm. This flexibility allows for smooth passage through the channel and advanced maneuverability.
