• This will never happen. Well, okay, so I'm kidding. In the unlikely event that you should receive an incorrect part. Please follow our simple 3 step process: • ONE: I don't want to offend anyone and please don't take this the wrong way, but the first thing to do is to ensure that we sent you the wrong part. No really, I'm being serious. Many times we have sent you EXACTLY what you asked for. And notice I said, “What you asked for.” You may have asked us for a Chevy Sedan part but what you meant or what you actually needed was something for a Hardtop. It's a common mistake, and it happens when people confuse things like the model of the car, left-side vs right-side, original parts vs aftermarket parts. The list is endless. The best thing to do is go to our website at www.SoutheastChevyParts.com and download the free parts guide in the right hand margin which will help you determine what kind of car you have and what parts you need. • TWO: Even after doing the first step you still have a part that is not fitting. However, again, this doesn't mean that we sent you the incorrect part. New parts can act like new shoes, they take time to break in and sometimes need a slight modification in order to fit right. In the case of sheetmetal, regardless of who made it or when it was made, you will have to trim, tweak, and adjust the part in order to get it to fit properly. No panel is perfect, not even the coveted NOS one. • THREE: Ok, ok, I really haven't been trying to avoid the question. I just know that sometimes what may appear as a mistake on our part was simply a misunderstanding on yours. But, we are not flawless and on rare occasions we do send the wrong part. Unfortunately, we don't take any parts back. I'm kidding! So long as you are within the 30 day period from the purchase date, we will gladly accept the return. All this means is don't buy the part, put in on the shelf, and then 6 months later open it only to discover that it was incorrect. Our advice, check it when you get it. We are dealing with used classic Chevy parts, sometimes the condition wasn't what you expected or we sent you the thingamajig when you really wanted the whatchamacallit. In other words, there wasn't a clear understanding of what you needed and we gave it our best shot. No problem, simply give us a call at the shop and let us know about our blunder. We'll have you ship the part back to us along with the invoice and either replace it with the right part, offer you in-store credit for your next purchase, give you a complete refund on the incorrect part, or teach you how to create a new Christmas ornament with it. You can read more details on our return policy below. • RETURN POLICY ◦ We will gladly accept the return of products that are unsatisfactory due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship within 30 days from the date of purchase. ◦ Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 30 days from the date of purchase.
