Let me introduce you to my most favourite fan during my grade school years; DEMC’s steel bladed 48” ceiling fan! The ones in this video are located in the kindergarten part of my grade school complex, which also includes a junior high school. Before I get far off track, let’s talk about why I love these so much. You see, my grade school’s 1st floor hall has 6 ceiling fans. 3 of them are dead, 2 spin very slow, and the last is a 48” DEMC that’s still good even today after many many years of service. We often fight to sit or stand under that fan everytime an event is taking place in that hall because it’s the only fan that provides cooling. That memory is burned real deep in my brain, and I guess that makes me in love with that fan. When I found out that almost every class in the kindergarten use DEMCs, I bolted straight there to soak in the old atmosphere from the building & cool myself down with those DEMCs while remembering my grade school years. Most of the DEMCs here use Ogata speed controllers, and all of those controllers are busted. I counted 3 that are still operable, and only 1 of them have the original DEMC controller. Someone in the past have tinkered with them though as now speed number 1 is low and 5 is high. CMC & DEMC controllers operate in the opposite manner, which is why I got confused with the 2 DEMCs that still have 5 speed controllers. Full Video: • 48" DEMC industrial ceiling fan #DEMC #CeilingFan
