Now I cannot emphasise how much I love my Vostok Amphibia's with the 090 as good for me as the 060 "curvy lady" cases but I felt the 090 just lacked something, then Meranom.com brought out the awesome modification part called the grille bezel and wow, what a transformation. It brings home that Amphibia's ARE dive watches, I couldn't say on functionality other than protection from something smashing your crystal, maybe they add some strength giving the watch deeper dive capability past the 200m and remember the Amphibia was tested to destruction at a point past 800m in a simulated submarine rescue but are normally certified to at least 200m which isn't too bad for a thin built, acrylic glassed watch.
