Here we show the basic pivots to attack a defender using a permanent pivot foot (Lefties pivot on their right foot and vice versa). There is nothing wrong with using a dual pivot but the single pivot is easier to streamline through an entire program and we would rather be great at our single pivots than average using either foot. There are more options but we believe they are beyond the scope of teaching for high school basketball. We have a strong belief in fundamentals and teach these pivots consistently through our program, mostly through the drills shown at the end of the video.
