Yes, you read that correctly, 24 chickens. That is way too much for this sized coop, however, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to find out how well the farmstraw will work in the coop. Matt and Kristen put down two bales of the FarmStraw and check back over four weeks to see if it broke down, or if it absorbed the water because there was a lot of run off from recent rains that go into the run.
