The world's largest rocket blasts off from Starbase in Texas. Watch the sheer power of the spacecraft lifting up from our cameras positioned next to the launch site. This was the final flight of Starship Version 2 on Flight 11. On Monday, October 13th at 18:23 CT, SpaceX launched Ship 38 from the launch site at Starbase in Texas. The spaceship was lifted by all 33 Raptor engines on Super Heavy Booster 15 for Integrated Flight Test (IFT) 11. Ship 38 was the last of the Version 2 Starships to be expended on splashing down in the Indian Ocean, before SpaceX intends to move onto Version 3. Booster 15 was also expended during splash-down; it had previously flown on Flight 8, and was caught by the tower. The area around the launch site was cleared of spectators as law enforcement officials shut roads in the area. A large crowd travelled to South Padre Island to watch the launch from Isla Blanca Park.
